Fact: 40% of all young people who play cricket in the UK come from a South Asian background.

So, when we found out cricket was finally returning to the BBC with the all new youth focused Hundred, we wanted to make it feel fresh by shining a light on traditionally underrepresented fans across the UK, from Bradford to Birmingham. We met incredible real fans everywhere, with a real passion for cricket.

We also created a huge mural to celebrate local icon Moeen Ali, the Birmingham Phoenix captain, situated in Spark Green Park, the park where Moeen and his friends grew up and learned cricket.
